Terms and Conditions
The rules for using PersonalityMe assessments, reports, result links, profiles, and educational content.

1. Who We Are
PersonalityMe is operated by molebyte Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom under company number [INSERT COMPANY NUMBER], with its registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. In these Terms and Conditions, "PersonalityMe", "we", "us" and "our" mean molebyte Ltd.

2. These Terms
These Terms govern your use of https://personalityme.co, the PersonalityMe web app, assessments, generated reports, public tokenised result pages, public profile pages, blog content, and related features. By using PersonalityMe, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the service. If you use PersonalityMe on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" includes that organisation where the context allows.
3. Nature of the Service
PersonalityMe is currently a free informational website and web app. It offers personality and interest self-assessments, generated personality or interest reports, public profile pages, and educational blog content. Current assessments include 16-Type, Big Five, Enneagram, and RIASEC-style career-interest assessments.
No public user account system is currently exposed. There is an admin/CMS login for authorised staff only.
4. Age Requirements
You must be at least 16 to use PersonalityMe. If you are 16 or 17, you should use the service with the awareness of a parent or guardian. The service is not directed at children under 13.
If paid products, subscriptions, or digital downloads are introduced later, purchases should require users to be 18 or over and should be governed by additional payment, cancellation, and consumer-rights terms before checkout is made available.
5. Assessment Limits and No Professional Advice
PersonalityMe assessments and reports are for self-reflection, coaching, personal development, and career-interest exploration only. They are not professional advice. They are not diagnosis, clinical advice, therapy, mental-health assessment, medical advice, employment-selection advice, hiring guidance, legal advice, financial advice, insurance advice, credit assessment, or proof of ability.
Assessment results are interpretive and may be incomplete, inaccurate, borderline, context-dependent, or affected by mood, self-perception, wording, environment, and scoring limitations. A result does not prove who you are, predict success, determine suitability, or guarantee a best path. You should use your own judgement and, where appropriate, seek advice from a suitably qualified professional.
6. Prohibited High-Stakes Uses
You must not use PersonalityMe assessments, reports, scores, labels, result pages, or profile content for high-stakes decisions about any person. Prohibited uses include:
- hiring, firing, promotion, selection, work allocation, workplace discipline, or employment screening;
- clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, mental-health, medical, or disability-related decisions;
- legal, financial, insurance, lending, credit, housing, immigration, education-admissions, safeguarding, or eligibility decisions;
- decisions about a person's rights, benefits, access to services, safety, liberty, or legal status;
- claims that a result proves ability, character, worth, maturity, morality, risk, compatibility, or guaranteed suitability; and
- profiling another person without a lawful basis, transparency, and any consent required by applicable law.
7. Public Tokenised Result URLs
After you submit an assessment, PersonalityMe may save your result page and make it available through a public tokenised URL. This is a bearer-link page, not private account storage. Anyone with the full link may be able to view the result page.
You are responsible for keeping the link private if you do not want other people to see it. Do not share a result link unless you are comfortable with the recipient viewing the result. Result links may appear in browser history, messages, screenshots, link previews, logs, or third-party services if you share or open them in those contexts.
We set saved result pages to noindex and send noindex/no-referrer headers from the result route. We also do not load Google Analytics on tokenised saved result pages. These measures reduce risk, but they do not make a shared link confidential. We are not responsible for onward sharing, screenshots, copying, archiving, or other handling of a result link after you or someone else shares it.
If you believe a result link should be deleted, contact privacy@personalityme.co with the relevant URL or token so we can identify the record.
8. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- use PersonalityMe only for lawful, personal, educational, and informational purposes;
- answer assessment questions honestly if you want a meaningful result;
- keep tokenised result links private if you do not want others to view them;
- respect our intellectual property and the rights of others;
- not misuse the site, assessments, reports, blog, admin/CMS, or infrastructure;
- not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, access controls, result-token protections, or technical restrictions; and
- comply with applicable laws, including data protection, privacy, consumer, intellectual property, and computer misuse laws.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- use PersonalityMe in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, or infringing;
- attempt to access admin/CMS areas unless you are authorised by us;
- probe, scan, scrape, crawl, overload, interfere with, or disrupt the service except as allowed by law and our written permission;
- reverse engineer, copy, extract, harvest, or recreate substantial parts of our assessments, item banks, scoring logic, reports, designs, or content;
- use bots, automated scripts, or bulk tools to submit assessments or collect result pages without our permission;
- upload or submit malware, exploit code, spam, or harmful content;
- misrepresent your relationship with us or imply endorsement, partnership, certification, or official status without written permission;
- use results or content to make prohibited high-stakes decisions; or
- help anyone else do any of the above.
10. Admin and CMS Access
Admin/CMS access is for authorised staff only. If we provide admin credentials, you must keep them confidential, use strong authentication practices, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend, restrict, or revoke admin access at any time where we reasonably consider it necessary for security, operational, legal, or governance reasons.
11. Intellectual Property and Third-Party References
PersonalityMe and/or its licensors own all rights in the website and app, including assessments, questions where owned by us or licensed to us, scoring structures, generated report wording, profile copy, design, branding, logos, page layouts, blog content, code, databases, compilation, and other materials, except where third-party materials are used under licence or law.
The names, logos, branding, and visual identity of PersonalityMe and molebyte Ltd must not be used without our written permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
References to personality or interest frameworks, including 16-Type, Big Five, Enneagram, and RIASEC-style terminology, are descriptive. PersonalityMe is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or certified by any third-party assessment publisher, trade mark owner, research body, or occupational-data provider unless we expressly say so in writing.
12. Your Licence to Use the Service and Your Results
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use PersonalityMe for lawful personal, non-commercial, informational purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may use your own generated assessment result for private, personal, and non-commercial purposes, including self-reflection, discussion with a coach, mentor, counsellor, educator, or career adviser, or personal record-keeping. You must not sell, resell, package, publish, scrape, bulk-download, or commercially exploit PersonalityMe results, report text, assessment content, or profile copy without our written permission.
13. User Content, Comments, and Public Submissions
If comments, newsletter forms, contact forms, uploads, or other submission features are enabled, you are responsible for what you submit. You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, abusive, private without permission, malicious, misleading, or otherwise harmful.
You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, display, moderate, edit for formatting, and use your submitted content as necessary to operate the relevant feature and protect the service. This licence does not affect your privacy rights under our Privacy Policy.
We may review, moderate, refuse, remove, restrict, or preserve submitted content where we reasonably consider it necessary for legal, safety, security, moderation, evidence, or service-protection reasons. If public comments, uploads, or user-to-user features are enabled, we may provide reporting and takedown routes and may restrict repeat misuse.
Comment, newsletter, and upload processing is conditional and applies only if those features are publicly enabled. Before enabling public user-to-user or upload features, we will assess whether additional moderation terms, reporting tools, and Online Safety Act duties apply.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
PersonalityMe may use third-party service providers for hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email, storage, security, CMS functions, or other operations. Our Privacy Policy explains current and possible processing arrangements.
The site may link to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or practices. Links do not imply endorsement unless we expressly say so.
15. No Paid Services Currently
PersonalityMe currently does not sell paid services, subscriptions, digital downloads, ecommerce products, or paid reports. There are therefore no purchase, refund, or cancellation rights for paid PersonalityMe products at this time.
If paid products are introduced, we will need to add clear pre-contract information, pricing, payment terms, cancellation rights, refund rules, digital-content access terms, and any subscription renewal terms before taking payment. Those future paid terms will not affect your statutory consumer rights.
16. Availability and Changes to the Service
PersonalityMe is provided free of charge at this time. We may update, change, suspend, withdraw, or discontinue all or part of the service, including assessments, scoring models, reports, result pages, profile pages, blog content, or admin/CMS functionality.
We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, fast, error-free, or compatible with every device or browser. We may perform maintenance, address security issues, remove content, change features, or restrict access where reasonably necessary.
17. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to PersonalityMe, result pages, admin/CMS accounts, or particular features if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, created security or legal risk, misused the service, infringed rights, or used the service for a prohibited purpose.
You may stop using PersonalityMe at any time. If you want to request deletion of personal information, see our Privacy Policy and contact privacy@personalityme.co.
18. Disclaimers
PersonalityMe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the service, assessments, scores, reports, profile pages, or blog content will be accurate, complete, current, suitable for your purpose, scientifically validated for any particular use, free from errors, or available without interruption.
We do not promise that a result will match your self-image, other people's views of you, professional assessment outcomes, career outcomes, relationship outcomes, or future behaviour. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the information.
19. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, business losses, or losses caused by your misuse of the service or use of results for prohibited high-stakes decisions.
If you use PersonalityMe for business or organisational purposes, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations, and terms to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, opportunity, anticipated savings, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability to a business user for claims arising out of or relating to the service will be limited to £100, because the current service is free, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
20. Indemnity for Business or Prohibited Use
If you use PersonalityMe for business, organisational, commercial, or prohibited high-stakes purposes, you agree to indemnify molebyte Ltd against losses, liabilities, claims, costs, and expenses arising from that use, to the extent permitted by law. This clause does not apply to consumers in a way that would be unfair or unlawful.
21. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information, including assessment responses, result data, result tokens, cookies, analytics, and admin/CMS information. You should read it before using the service.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to users' attention, proportionate to the nature of the change and the service features affected. Your continued use of PersonalityMe after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
23. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in another part of the UK, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of the country where you live.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that consumers may be able to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live, and mandatory local consumer rights may apply.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at legal@personalityme.co so we can try to resolve it informally.
24. General Legal Terms
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a term does not mean we have waived it. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations where this does not reduce your consumer rights or where reasonably necessary for a business transfer, restructuring, or service operation.
These Terms do not create rights for third parties, except where applicable law says otherwise. The English version of these Terms controls unless we expressly publish another version as legally binding.
